I Need Advice on Family Matters?

Ok, my dad was raised in an abusive environment. He was taken out of the house when he was 13 and he was moved around through foster homes until he was 18. He says that he never had a good father figure. Now, in 2013, I'm 14 years old, and we aren't doing that bad. We have a nice house, my parents have stable jobs, I do well in school, and my parents aren't divorced. My dad claims that he tries hard to be a good father, but he sometimes has these anger fits. He will come home and just yell and blame my sister and I for stuff that we had no part in. He yells so loud that it seems like the whole neighborhood can hear it. Some of the comments he makes to me are horrible and dehumanizing. Then, when I go out in the community (school, church, etc.), I act like everything at home is fine. Then when my friends ask why I don't have an email, iPhone, or a Facebook, or any of that, I have to explain that my dad is super strict. I have done extremely well in school, have done well in sports, and other extra-curricular activities, but he is never impressed.So, I need advise on a couple things.

1) How should I address these anger fits? Should I just take the comments and ignore their meanings, or should I do something about them?

2) I have tried addressing such things like an email and a Facebook that I need for school and extra-curricula's, and he ignores them. How should I request for such simple things like an email?

3) What else can I do to try to convince him to gift me with an iPhone? I have done everything I could to impress my parents, and he is against the iPhone. I have come to the revelation that he won't reward me until his anger against me has stopped, but what else can I do?

I have an iPhone but no longer under a contract?

I have an iPhone 5 and am no longer under a contract. Can I sign up for another carrier but still keep the same phone? I'm thinking about signing up for a different carrier and don't want to buy another iPhone. Thanks!

How to erase my data on my iphone without restoration?

I'm selling my iphone 3gs to my friend and she won't have a way to activate it, so i was wondering if it was possible to erase all the content and data for her without having to restore it, I've already backed up all my files and logged out of my apple id on it

Which iPhone and Which Phone Service?

I have Sprint. Do you prefer Sprint or Verizon Wireless? My Upgrade is in June. But my dad has been thinkin about switching to Verizon Wireless. If I want a iPhone 5s I would have to pay $700 right now. In June I'll have to pay $250. Or I could Pay $150 in June for the iPhone 5c. Or If I Switch to Verizon Ill Have to pay $250 for the 5s and $150 for the 5c I only have $200 right now. But in June Ill have my job… What to do! I have a Samsung Galaxy Epic 1 right now And I want a iPhone!

IPhone in water, screen doesn't work. Can it be fixed?

I dropped my phone in the sink which was full of water/dishes. I grabbed it out immediately but it was fully submerged. The phone still works, I'm getting texts and alerts, but the screen won't work. I can see everything but the touch screen isn't working. I can't even slide it to unlock it. I will try the rice thing but I'm wondering if it would work on the screen, or if I need to replace the screen. Or buy a new phone:/

IPhone 4 trouble with iTunes

Once I did the update after it was released everything was fine, since updating my iTunes library with new music from my Mac and after the new iTunes update (11.1) my iPhone is not letting me listen to songs that were already on there, there's just a small stop pink sign near the song on the phone.

Also, the new music I downloaded would not sync to my iPhone even though it plays on the Mac, there's a small circle near the newly downloaded songs and it is highlighted in grey on my Mac. I even downloaded the new Mavericks OS update for my Mac and there's hardly any difference.

My podcasts, too don't work, it just says that playback has failed.

I really hope Apple fixes this as the majority of iPhone users have the iPhone 4/4s and this is a huge problem. I have looked at forums on the Apple website and some suggestions were to reset the iPhone completely but I really can't do that at the moment as it is time consuming to put the stuff back on, I think I'll wait to see if Apple get off their arses and fix this.

Could I get apple to fix my iPhone under EU consumer rights law?

My iPhone 5 has developed a fault where it is only sometimes responding to the charging lead. I've tried multiple leads, and it is definitely a fault with the iphone. I've just checked online, and typically, I'm over the 1 year warranty by about a month. I know that companies are supposed to cover devices for a reasonable length of time (6 Years in England). Would this law cover them repairing it?

Can't get on with touch screen texting?

Any one know of a basic smart fone with press keys for texting.blackberry querty keys look small, so would like one with old fashioned 12 press keys.
i don't have fat finger tips, but can't text quickly with touch pads! Duh!
apple iphones seem so complicated, but samsung look much easier apart from the touch pads.

My iPHone 4S won't charge past 20%

My iPhone will not charge past 20%, and also I have it on charge, while using it and the battery drops rapidly instead of increasing? I did take a look at the apple forums, but nothing there really helped, so Any help would be much appreciated.
