I have an iPhone 4, iOS 7.So I was using safari and I entered a website address into the search bar. Now, every time I type the first letter of it, that website comes into my "top hits". How do I get rid of this? I've tried deleting the history, but it doesn't work.
Its showing no service and have ios 4.2.1 installed in it so i could no longer download apps on it… So should i upgrade it to ios 6 and if yes how to do it… Its jailbroken… And will it reduce the battery life?
Added (1). Its also having a no service issue… Will an update will solve it?
So heres the situation: Me (German) currently residing in the US. I own an old, unlocked Iphone 3g wich works just fine for making calls to Germany but i'm unable to talk/text with people living in the US.
After doing some research i believe to have narrowed it down to me needing an US sim-card for my unlocked phone.
My main problem is, i understand next to nothing about mobile phones, networks and sim-cards.
Exactly what do i need to do how in order to be able to phone with people from the US?

So my friends all have iPhones, except for me, i have an android. They always create group texts with me in it, and i get it all in different threads depending on who sent it and i only get half the messages and they can't receive mine. Its really annoying because there's no way to stop them from texting me and it getting to my phone. Is there an app that can put it all in one thread, and let me keep my number? I currently use go SMS pro because i like it better than the messaging my phone comes with. I'm not looking for an app to create group texts, but just to receive. Anyone know of any?
The Nexus 5 is half the price of the iPhone 5S and it has better specs than the 5S. Would you get it? Or get an iPhone instead?
Okay I really want to upload a picture to my twitter and make it my avatar its from my iPhone but when I do its sideways, anyone have any tips/advice.
Suppose one uses his/her iphone to do the following things:
Send tweets threatening to organize/commit domestic terror attacks on real places and times and uses phone app to purchase items to be used in conspiracy to commit criminal acts
Transmitting of lewd graphic images to minors under the age of 18, using an iphone or android
Using the iphone telephone keypad to misuse 911 emergency service in a so-called prank
Use of iphone email to spam others without their consent
So what if a person accused of these activities using an iphone says in their defense? "I'm not guilty because all I did was touch an iphone touch screen. Since there's no buttons on an iphone other than the home button, it's not fair to rule out that all the person did was touch a piece of stainless steal glass with their thumb
How hence can they be guilty of doing nothing more than touching glass on a rectangular touch screen?
