Am I charging my iPhone too much?

I have an iPhone 3GS and I use it a lot. Usually charge it once a day. Is this bad? Will my phone break because of too much charging?

I bet that there was a phone similar to the iPhone before the iPhone came out. This phone needs to have two or more of the following features:

1.metal on the sidings
2.a front home button
3.a button on the top
4.a headphone jack on the top

Why Is my iphone battery bad on ios7?

So after ios 7, my battery has been horrible. I have turned off background refreshing, reduced motion and my brightness is very low. Where I go to school though, my service is terrible. I'm constantly searching. Could that be the reason? Or do I need to reset my phone? Note- I get about 4 hours of usage per charge.
