Should I buy an iphone 5 or 5s?

I want to get a new phone but I'm unsure if I should buy the iphone 5 or the new 5s. I'm moving from a blackberry. Is there really a hugh different between the two phones?

OK so my friend in Honduras recently got an Iphone, and I also have an iphone. So if i wanted to text him using imessage, would Sprint charge me? Also I'm texting him through his email, but i'm not sure if hes texting me through my email or phone number bc both is entered into my contact on his phone. So will Sprint charge me for this?

Which is a better Christmas gift?

I'm thinking of getting my mom the iPod touch 5th generation or a iPhone 5s. She currently has the iPhone 5 and the iPod touch 4g. I'm only 15 but I do have the money for either. I was thinking of getting her the iPod touch for Christmas then the iPhone 5s for her birthday (May). What do you think?

Can i use a deactivated sim to activate an old iPhone?

My family just switched over to T-Mobile, And i have an old sprint iphone 4s, iOS 7.0.3. The deactivated SIM card is still in the phone, but i know if i restore it, it'll ask to be activated. I need to know if the deactivated SIM will be enough to activate the phone.

Windows 7 won't recognise USB?

So, my PC (I built it myself) has been on a massive render for the past 4 days, (and night). I was bored about an hour ago and started playing MInecraft, in the middle of a game, I was messing with my wireless mouse and keyboard receiver, I was plugging in a external HDD and needed a USB 3 port free. So I disconnected the Logitech receiver (M185) and plugged it back in, and now it won't pick up the mouse or keyboard (the keyboard is on the same receiver). Also, no other devices are picked up, the iPhone and iPad do nothing when plugged in, external HDDs turn on but do not interact with the computer. So I need to check this render, but I'm stuck in MInecraft and can't control the PC. I also can't shut down as it would interrupt the render and I don't want to waste 4 days worth of rendering.

Otterbox Communter or Defender for iPhone 5s?

I'm getting an iPhone 5s and I'm wondering which case to get…
the otterbox communter has such nice fun cases while the defenders are bulky, but I really want to make sure my phone is safe.

I'm a teenager so I don't do much to damage it too bad.unless it'd slip out of my hands at one point or something.
I know both otterbox cases are amazing but has anybody had experience with both that they can tell me a bit about them?

Does cutting a regular sim to a nano sim really work?

If I have someone off of craigslist cut my regular (mini-sim) sim card to fit in the iphone 5c will it actually work? How much of a chance is it that my sim card will be destroyed? Would my phone company replece my sim? How does cutting the sim actually work? Isn't the edges open then?

Upgrade a very out of date Mac?

I'm trying to download a work file and also update my iphone 5 but it seems I have never upgraded my desktop mac. Its still using 10.5.8. I understand I need to go up the stages with the upgrades but how?
It also states I have only 1gb… Thats not alot right? So how do I make that bigger?

I have tried downloading Snow Leopard 10.6 but it didn't work so I have now bought the installation dvd… Can anyone give me any advise on how to get this computer back up to date.
I'm really not confident using mac at all so a /dummy. Guide' would be helpful.
