Why does my dad do this?

Hi i'm 15 turning 16 in 5 months I applied for a job that's walking distance so I can easily get there instead of rely on my dad to drop me off btw my dad and mom are divorced. I get pretty good grades in school only 1-2 c and the rest a and b I asked my dad for a iPhone before and he never gets me one he always buys me flip phones and he has a decent job and make good money and he has a pretty good phone himself I just don't understand why my dad won't buy me a iPhone I know y'all going come up with all these excuses but you won't understand when you get picked on in school for having no phone even if you have a droid you get picked on.

Why is everyone so judgmental about kids having phones these days?

Everyone is always complaining about how kids have the latest iPhones these days. So what? How do you know that they're spoiled? Maybe they deserved it? How do you know that they didn't work for it and spent it with their own money? Are you the one paying for the phone and service? NO! STOP COMPLAINING AND BEING SO JUDGMENTAL WHAT OTHER PEOPLE DO WITH THEIR MONEY FOR GOD'S SAKE!
