There's a blue line on top of the screen of the phone, so i'm guessing that's water? So like how long should i have the phone in the rice.right now it's been an hour. And by the way i already turned it on so the battery will die right? And once how long it takes for the water to soak up from the rice? Charge it and then see if it works?
I have on a 2 year contract and my friends to me that you could give them your old phone and you'll get credit and pay the deductible. Could i do that? My upgrade is next year.

I have a white 16 gb iphone 5 with no broken glass, and barely any scratches, maybe one or two there but barely noticeable. What's the most i can ask for i know apples doing a buy back program thing where they give you a gift card for your iphone but i don't know how much i would get.

I want to get the newest iphone coming out very soon and my friend offered me his upgrade (very kind of him) but he has a contract with t-mobile. I was wondering if there was any way to switch my iphone from t-mobile to at&t if i were to do this, how would i do it? Is it easy or hard, any help would be appreciated
Added (1). I don't understand what you're saying. My friend has t-mobile, i have at&t. My friend has an upgrade that he is letting me use but of course the upgrade would be for a t-mobile iPhone not an at&t one, but i need to switch it to at&t because that is my carrier
I'm wondering if I bought one from a local GameStop, can I switch my current phone (which isn't a smartphone) to the iPhone on my Sprint plan if I bought a data plan to go with it.
I forgot the passcode for my IPhone 4s and had to reset and restore it. Once I did this it worked fine except my IMessage won't work. At first it was activated but the message would fail as soon as I sent it, and then the send button turned green and it says waiting for activation in settings. I've tried many different solutions but nothing has worked. It's been a few hours since I originally restored it. I have Virgin Mobile if it makes a difference.
I don't have money for my phone to get replaced. I dropped it in the toilet earlier today, I hurried up and dried it completely and turned it off. When I got home i put it in some rice. I noticed that all of a sudden my phone turned on. It had some kind of error message at the top and the apple sign in the middle. When I tried to turn it off, some shatter stuff appeared in the middle of the screen, the phone still refused to turn off. I just left it back in the rice, is their anyway my phone will survive this tragedy?
Okay my daughter is turning 13 in October and has been begging me for an iPhone forever. She has a phone which she can only text and talk for 2 years or so. She also has an iPod Touch which she can't use outside the house without Wi-Fi. She is very responsible and receives good grades. What are some good reasons of why I should get her an iPhone for her 13th birthday?
