I worked yesterday and today I was on my laptop and I opened the messages app (if you don't know, if you have an iPhone and a MacBook you can connect your messages so they go to both places). I saw my managers name (who worked yesterday) in recent messages and it said "1 image sent." Thought this was weird and clicked it. I found a picture of my boyfriend smiling and me topless taken a few weeks ago(I knew about this pic). I slammed my laptop shut, horrified, and I went to my PHONE messages to see if I had somehow accidentally sent this pic last night, but the text thread I had with that manager was completely deleted. Btw I never delete texts. I went back to laptop and checked when photo was sent to him. 1:40 pm. At 1:40 pm I was at work, my phone in the break room where my manager had been sitting most of the day, where all of the workers leave their phones every time we work. My married, 40 y/o manager saw my phone, looked through my pictures and who knows what else, found a picture of me topless, sent it to himself and deleted the thread. I only found it because of message sharing to my MacBook. I feel sick. Is this my fault for not having a lock and having that pic in my phone? I was underage until about 2 mo. Ago, so this man has mostly known me as a minor. I'm disgusted with him and myself. I love working here & I've been here 2 yrs but this changes everything. I'm angry, hurt, grossed out, and upset. I think I want to quit or at least tell the manager above him.
