Which smartphone should I get?

Right now I have a flip phone that I've owned for almost 7 years, and it's been giving signs that it's going to die soon. I also have an iPod Touch (4th generation) that's about to die too. The battery life is getting shorter in both devices and certain buttons don't work in both of them either, like the on and off button for my iPod doesn't work anymore. It's a miracle that I can still use it lol. Pretty soon I will have money to get a new phone and I want a smartphone for 3 reasons:

1) I'm 20 years old and I just want a smartphone lol.
2) They work better than flip phones.
3) I want a phone that's like a combo of my iPod and phone, and I don't want it to be an iPhone because it's too expensive.

My budget is $100 or less. I want to buy an Android phone because I can get the same exact apps like what iTunes has because I have apps on my iPod that I want to keep, and also the new company I want to switch to only has Android phones. Like I just said, I'm switching companies too because I'm tired of the current company I'm with and this new company gets better reception, especially where I live! So upgrading to a better phone won't work for me.

I truly don't need anything fancy, but I do want to keep those apps that I have on my iPod so I guess I have to go with a more expensive phone. That's why my budget is $100 or less. I don't want to go past 100 if I don't need too.

Sorry for rambling but do you have any advise for me? Any suggestions would be great too! Thank you!

Added (1). Something I should say about wanting to get the same apps: I mean't to say that those apps that I currently have and want to keep are also available on Android.

With a leased phone?

My iPhone got wet and doesn't turn on. Its leased so to do the upgrade i have to give back the phone, and since it doesn't turn on at all they will charge me like I'm buying the phone when i give it back. I don't have any protection on it. If i say to buy the phone it will cost me $320, but i don't know if by just giving it back they will charge me less. Something else, a new phone is being added to my line. Could i ask for a exact same phone as mine and put protection on it and say that it got lost so i get a new phone and at the time i have to give back my phone i give them the one that was just added to the plan. And my family member gets the phone that is covered by the protection plan, or it wouldn't work?

IPhone not sorting songs by artist?

Everything in my computer all sorts by artist, iTunes, Windows Media Player, everything. But when I go to check my iPhone, it's all arranged by Title when marked as "Sort by Artist". All the songs have artists marked on them, so there should be no reason it's not arranging how I want.

Any suggestions?

Computer download speed is .75MB/s on the same Wi-Fi that an iPhone has a download speed of 33 MB/s. Then they have the same on another?

I gave my girlfriend my old laptop, when she took it to her house and tried to use it we noticed it was running extremely slow. I ran a speed test on the internet and got a download speed of .75MB/s and then an upload speed of 33MB/s. An iPhone in the same location got a download and upload around 33 for both. So my first reaction was, ok so there's an issue with the Wi-Fi adapter or something. I brought it back home and tested it on my own Wi-Fi. The download and upload were both around 60MB/s which is average for devices at my house. I'm utterly confused. Just to help with any responses, I'm decently tech savvy, so don't restrict your answers. And yes I updated the drivers!

ITunes not sorting music properly

I'm using iPhone SE with the latest iOS. So I just added some music to my song list, and it caused my song order to be mixed up. I always have it sorted by artist, but now, the new songs are sorted, but everything else is under a question mark, throwing everything into disarray. The only clue I have is that it keeps syncing every song with iTunes every time I add one new song, but I don't know what that means or if it's related.

Any possible solutions?
