What to do with my Iphone 5 while traveling?

I'm flying from the US to England tomorrow and I'm not sure what settings to put my phone on while I'm there for ten days. I got an international plan so that it is less money to call and text internationally. I have an iphone 5 and my carrier is Verizon.

I would like to be able to call, facetime, and text, even if I have to pay per minute or per message. I have heard that I should turn SMS off, but will that mean that if someone wants to text me that doesn't have an iphone, I won't get their message? Also, if I turn cellular data or data roaming off can I still make and receive calls?

How to get songs from iPhone on computer?

I have an iphone and a laptop with the same songs on each. I just got a new mac book pro and i want ot get the songs from my iphone on the mac without deleting all of my songs. Can someone Please help me! I seriously need help!

Can you battle other people on Pokemon with an emulator?

My friends and I have Emu4iOS (a GBA emulator for iPhones, iPads, and iPods). We have various Pokemon games (all for GameBoy Advance, so Fire Red/Leaf Green and Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald. All are compatible with actual GBAs).Is there any way we can battle each other? Verizon iPhone 4S has a sim card but the 4 doesn't?

I had a 4S and that had a sim card, but now I have a 4 that broke and I want to put the sim card in the 4S but the 4 doesn't have a card. Why? Why does the 4S have a sim card and the 4 not?

Will Snap On Cases Scratch My iPhone 4?

Ok so, my cousin gave me a snap on case for my birthday. And its cute and all, but 1 problem! Will it scratch my phone? I mean usually I don't put on those kind of cases because they don't protect my phone. I have 9 other cases but there silicone and they are protective. But I feel bad not putting on the case that my cousin gave me!

Which iPhone should I look to buy?

So I have an upgrade coming around in August, and I really want a new phone before school starts. I was looking into the iPhone 5 and found it was probably the best choice for me. But the real question is should I get the iPhone 5 now, or wait until the iPhone 5s is released next month? I don't really know the specs of the 5s, so it's hard to choose.

So my parents cancled my phone service and i can't text and call but i go go on the internet. If i'm using my Wi-Fi and connected to the modem in my house its free and is unlimited and won't show up on the phone bill right? And I have sprint i don't know if that matters.

Taking my SIM card out of my iPhone 4S?

Right so I have the iPhone 4S and I was just wondering that if I take the SIM card card out will it still work and if so what will I be able to do on it? As I'm going abroad to cyprus next week and I don't want to risk it charging me for going on the Internet or something. Also if I have twitter/ Facebook on my phone (with the SIM card taken out) would i be able to go on them if my hotel has Wi-Fi? And also would I be able to download music on it and take photos?

How come my Wi-Fi only works for a short period of time? - 1

What I mean is it will work fine for a couple of hour but then this page shows up saying "there's a problem with your router" I'm the only one who uses the Wi-Fi for my iphone & this is bugging me. Btw this is a new router it came free when we installed our new phone line, it's connected to the house phone if that matters. Anyways, is there a way to fix this? I really don't want to go over my data. Omg it just happened as I was posting this.-.
