My iPhone died and won't come back on?

My phone just died out of nowhere. I took the battery out and put it back in. Now my phone won't turn on without the charger plugged in. Even when It is on there's no service, Wi-Fi, or 3G. I have no clue what's wrong with it.

I'm trying to set up a hidden camera to see if my brother is messing up my room or taking stuff, because my book disappeared, so how can I maximize its battery life? It recently ran out in 1 hour when I attempted to set up my camera. It had airplane mode and darkest screen setting. Any other ways to get it to last for 4-6 hours at least?

Clash of clans won't load?
Whenever I try to play Clash of Clans, the loading bar makes no progress no matter how long I wait. I'm at a resort in Mexico, using Wi-Fi, and all apps work except this one. For example I can obviously use the internet, Facebook, Textplus, instagram, etc., but not Clash of Clans. I'm not getting any pop up telling me I'm not connecting, it just won't work. I have restarted both the app and my phone, as well as delete and reinstall the app. I have also restarted all other apps (by means of double clicking the home button and deleting it there). I'm on an iPhone 4S and have full Wi-Fi, and my service is AT&T if that matters. Thanks in advance for the help.

Also, there's no update in the app store.

Can I get a replacement iPhone if mine isn't working?

I bought an iPhone 5 about 3 months ago and didn't insure it with the phone company. However, ever since I got it it's been getting terrible signal and at least once a day I'm left without signal for over an hour and it drops about 80% of the calls I make. It's very frustrating and it's been doing this since it arrived so it's definitely not because of something I've done.

I was wondering if I take it to an Apple Store and explain can I get a new one? What about warranty?
