Seagate External Drive wiping my iPhoto Library

As I was importing my iPhone photo library onto my iPhoto file which is saved on my Seagate 3TB External Drive, something went wrong. The cord was barely unplugged after the transfer was successful. The library then began to show weird stuff as it eventually said try to "restore library". I waited as it restored, as after nothing came up. I have lost everything on my iPhoto which sucks. I tried the "option command" and all of that, is my stuff good for gone?

I have skull candy Hesh 2 headphones love them but the only problem when listening connected to iphone it only goes as loud as my phone does?

When I turn up the volume on the headpbjnes it turns up iphone volume it won't go louder with its own volume. It's really loud on my computer but not my phone.

So, basically, I noticed that on my lock screen, the word "Home" is written as "Home" but on my mum's phone, it's written as "home". I was thinking maybe it was a knock-off but the serial number matched. It connects to iTunes, has Siri and everything. Same with my iPhone.

If I buy a iPhone with a broken screen and I repair the screen will it turn on still locked and be unusable?

I'm thinking about buying broken iPhones and repairing their screens to resell them but how do I know if I buy a phone that won't turn on that once I fix the screen and it does turn on that it won't be locked from the previous owner and be unusable? Can they then be completely reset to be able to be re sold?
