What's wrong with my computer? And can I fix it?

My windows 10 desktop is acting up. My mom told me there was an update so she tried to update it. We can sign in but it's black with a mouse. Sometimes beside the mouse there's that loading thing. And if we let it sit over night or a few extra hours it will load my background phot but that's it. No icons, no interaction that's possible. We can't even click start, or get task manager open. Any ideas? I've tried a lot of things already, nothing seems to work. At this point I'm ready to factory reset it but my brother has all his iPhone photos on there, I do also.

Unresponsive home button on iPhone 6

I've had my iPhone 6 for nearly two years, and yesterday, the home button became unresponsive. It was working perfectly fine before that. When I reboot my phone, I get a notification saying "Unable to activate Touch ID on this phone". It never said that before the home button stopped being responsive. I also have battery problems with this phone. Is there a way to fix this?

How does the Essential PH-1 have a curved LCD?

How does the new Essential Phone have a cutout for the camera and curved corners even though it is an LED display?

When the rumor of the notch in the iPhone 8 came out everyone was talking how Apple would HAVE to use an AMOLED screen (Which it will) because LCD displays can only be rectangular.

Also, I figured I would point out that PH-1 spells out PH-One, or Phone. It's pretty funny and most people are just getting it.

EE SIM Only - Will my phone be locked to EE?

I have an unlocked iPhone bought directly from Apple. If i purchase a SIM ONLY deal from EE, will my phone become locked to EE network?

I plan to travel so i want to be able to interchange SIM's abroad and don't want to be locked to EE.
I've heard i will only be able to unlock after 6 months with EE.

Any UK providers that won't lock?

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
