Can I use the Bestek Travel Converter power strip in Japan?

Ok, I live in Japan. My friend from US came to visit and brought this product and then left it when he left. I know that Japan and US have similar voltage (100v and 110v), and typically a converter is not needed. However, I want to use this just as a charging station for my portable devices (a US laptop, JP iPhone, JP 3DS, etc). Can I use this just as a normal power strip?

Secondly, this power strip comes with an EU plug and 3 plug adapters. My friend forgot to give me the plug adapters, so I'm stuck with an EU plug I can't use. Can I buy a generic EU to US/JP plug adapter and use it with this?

I have an older friend that i know is being scammed i'm just not sure how its going to happen. Today he was sent an Iphone 7 that is for her. The address had a random name. She also sent him flowers from a random name a few weeks ago. They were for his birthday when it wasn't even his birthday she just told him to take them. But she's been wanting this phone forever. He said her "aunt" from africa contacted him and told him that she is going to send him the phone as a surprise for her. She's been telling him she wants to visit soon. And after giving him a bunch of crazy prices and some story about how she had to take a taxi to the nearest airport. He decided to just buy her a ticket himself. So now she will supposedly be here in a few weeks and this phone has arrived today and since he wasn't home i signed for it. It says 2 day shipping and some random name with our address. (but she sent this phone weeks ago?)

I have other friends that have been scammed and i myself have ran into a few. But they usually ask for western union eventually and this lady has not.

but her picture a clearly fake and she has no online social media accounts. Or any trace of her name on google.

Does anyone have any insight?

I signed up with an email address that my old school had that got deleted, of course since I know longer have access to that email and I do not remember what I set for the security questions I can't remove my phone from my iCloud account, I've tried factory resetting and resetting it with iTunes but nothing works, I guess I'll just have to throw it away, it's pretty much just a thousand dollar paperweight at this point

One month ago, my phone was being wacky, very laggy, and eventually just turned off and wouldn't turn back, I managed to update my phone to the latest iOS update and that essentially fixed the problem, and it's been fine, but I lost my the notes on my phone! I have important health related notes on there that mean a lot to me. I last updated my phone in March, if I restore my phone with my latest backup from 6 months ago, will that be the only opportunity I have to getting my notes back?
