Hi, I got my iPhone 4S in the mail today and went to put my sim in it and it turns out I need a micro sim, so I rang my provider and the next I can get the SIM card is 2 weeks, so because I don't have a sim I can't verify my home to get past the setup, so I was wondering if there's a way to skip this so I can set it up like and iPod touch until I get a SIM card.
I have an iPhone 3GS. When i send an SMS is there any way to know if the person who took the message has read it or not? I mean something like Facebook that you can see when the person who took the message read it.So, is there something to help me?
Okay so my boyfriend just got an iPhone, but he doesn't have much data, so when he's out he turns off his 3G and switches to texting. However when I try to text him, it still says I'm sending it as an iMessage. It won't send him texts. The only way I can send him a text is by turning my own iMessage off. But I don't want to be turning my iMessage off because that is the only way I talk to everyone else in my phone book.
Is there any way I can send him texts while he's out and then switch to be able send him iMessages when he has Internet without turning my iMesage on/off constantly and being unable to contact anyone else while it is off?
When I try to connect my iPhone to my computer iTunes freezes up and won't do anything. It won't let me do updates to back up my data. I can't sync my iPhone at all, does anyone know what the problem could be and how to fix it?
