I want to text my friend but on my old cell phone (not an iPhone btw) my mom said that she had to pay a $200 bill because I overtexted and even showed me the paper so I'm not allowed to text anymore. But now I have an iPhone 5 and I heard it has unlimited texting that doesn't even cost a cent. Is that true?
I was trying to text my friend through iMessage (we both have iPhones and have always used iMessage before) but then I tried to send a message but it got stuck and didn't send the message. So I tried again and it sent it as a text message. It still says text message in the typing area, and it's so weird because iMessage is on in my settings, and it still says iMessage for all my other friends with iPhones. What happened and how can I change it back to iMessage?
I want something with a good camera, could listen to music to and play games, and overally just a fun thing.So, I'm left with 2 choices - iPod, the latest 5th generation or an iPhone 4s? Someone tell me what would be better please.

I got out an old iPhone 4s to use because I broke my iPhone 5. The 4s was still running ios 5, so I connected it to iTunes to update it. Before it finished updating there was an iTunes alert saying the update could not be completed (something like that) and my iPhone was put into recovery mode. I again plugged the iphone 4s nto the computer to restore it, but everytime I plug the phone in, iTunes doesn't bring up anything about the phone. Added (1). I actually figured out how to do this. If anyone else has this problem- download redsn0w, then download a package of the ios you wish your device to have. Then use redsn0w and go to restore. It is pretty simple. Email me at parkerm0326@comcast.net if you need more help.
At the moment I have a Samsung galaxy ace. I've had it for about a year and a half now. My network is Virgin Mobile, but I would really like to upgrade to an iphone. I don't mean like a iphone 5 cause they are really expensive, more like a 4 of a 4s. I've looked on the Virgin website, but I haven't seen any iphones on it. I also have contract and I don't wanna change network or go to pay as you go. Has anyone got an iphone on Virgin? I only have like £130 from my birthday money, but I don't think that's enough. Has any one got any advice?
Howdy, I have the iPhone 5 on Verizon and today my phone randomly started vibrating off the chain. Naturally, I investigate and find that I have conversations with 2 numbers I do not have saved in my phone. They look like I'm the one sending the messages and the other is responding, however, I have had nothing to do with this. It's a full on conversation between "myself" and a number I do not know. I tried looking this up online but I couldn't find anything definite so I'm turning to you guys, the Yahoo Answers community. Please help me figure out what the heck is going on.
This happened all of a sudden and now my home button won't work! I have no idea what's going on and I haven't dropped my phone or anything. This is also happening to my sisters phone. Help! Voice control pops up every 5 seconds and my Internet keeps closing too!
Added (1). I've tried restarting a million times and that does nothing. But it's so weird that this is also happening to my sisters iphone 4 at the exact same time. I have verizon btw if that helps at all

I don't use it as an iphone anymore Its just an ipod but I can't get it to up date to the ios 5.It doesn't say I need an update but I do. I can't get any apps on it because all the apps I want need the update! Please someone help!
