So my husband and I are wanting to switch to straight talk and now they have a package where you can switch iphone or a 4g lte phone to straight talk. My s3 is a 4g lte but its on verizon and I've heard verizon phones can't do it or you have to get it unlocked. I really nees help!
I'm thinking about buying an iPhone 4s locked to AT&T. If I Jailbreak it, can I use it for T-Mobile? I had a problem initially with my iPhone 4 where the baseband had not yet been supported when I bought it and I'd like to avoid that problem.
Is it worth using iCloud to back up my data or stick to using my computer as storage?

I'm selling it because my mom suspended my account so I basically can't do anything with it. I was wondering what my options were if I wanted to sell it.
So i bought an iphone and paid the same day (saturday 6/8/13) i contacted the seller and he told me he would ship monday.monday passed and i messaged him again asking was he going to ship it. He tells me he works as a firefighter and basically has crazy hours he said he would ship today (6/11/13) and i still have YET to receive any tracking information what should i do?
Added (1). I bought it off of ebay via paypal the estimated shipping date was wednesday-thursday

Added (3). I can't really say i've been scammed because he messages me everyday at the same time around 9-10 so i really don't know
If not, what devices CAN I boot it on?
My iPhone 4 was working perfectly fine until I opened the facebook app and it just froze. I tried turning it off by holding the lock button, nothing is happening. I then tried resetting it by holding down this button and the home button, and still nothing happens.
I then plugged it into my computer, with a temperamental lead, and my iTunes just freezes. I have no clue what to do, same someone help me quickkkkkkkkkkk!

First, a disclaimer: i'm completely new to iphone, android or any mobile development. In the other side, i've been developing websites (php, javascript) for long time.
I have a website which is adapted for mobile and works great. But, there are some features i need such as prevent the screen from dimming (my site is designed to be used for many hours without user interaction while being permanently visible or for example being able to send notifications (with sound, etc., to attract user attention.
This has lead me to consider a webview. From what i've seen, it's about creating a native app which just a webview (browser without toolbars) and using html and javascript to operate. It will use some native functions to perform some native actions (such as the ones i want).
I've searched around and i don't have a specific response to this: can i tell a webview to, permanently load the content from a remote site? I mean, my site is php based (zend), with many jquery content manipulation. Can i tell him something like LOAD htp://www.mysyite.com and let him do everything else from it? Absolutely no local content applies, everything is remote. The webview would just be an "interface" to the website.
And additional question is: can i use jquery on it? Ajax calls? Geolocation? I mean, in a browser i can, i just wonder if inside a webview i can.
I've read that phonegap does this. But most of the time, when taking about phonegap and about webview i general, i read people talking about loading locally the page not remotely in a permanent basis.
Finally, yes, i will build a native app in the future. But now, i simply don't have time to learn about android, ios and blackberry at the same time.
I synced my iphone to itunes the other day and yesterday all contacts deleted themselves

Do i just resync iphone
I have never used icloud so i doubt my contacts will be backed up there
