How to move pictures and music from iPhone 4S to iPhone5?

I had an iPhone 4S but recently upgraded to an iPhone 5. I have all my pictures and music from my 4S backed up on my iTunes, but for some reason it will not move to my 5. I know that there's enough memory. Thanks!

Added (1). It seems to stay on Step 7 of 7 "Waiting for items to copy" for hours. Is this the step where everything is transferring? I haven't had time to wait hours for it to finish before, but maybe I should just leave it plugged in over night and see if that is what it's doing?

Added (2). The Step 7 finally ended, and they still didn't transfer.

My wife got a new iPhone 4s today. She took a handful of important photos. When we got home, I pkugged it in and did the nornal restore from last nights backup to make it the same as her old phone. Now all the new pics are gone. Is there ANY way to get them back?

Rooting Android VS Jailbreaking iPhone?

I have had the iPhone now for a year or so, and I had it jailbroken, but there was a hardware issue and now I'm stuck with ios 6.1.3 which doesn't have a jailbreak for it yet. I'd like a galaxy s3 but, I've had the iPhone now for so long, I don't know if I should get an s3. There are major differences in Jailbreaking and Rooting. I've never had a 'rooted' android device, so I don't know how they work, or what comes with it and all of that stuff. With rooting, is there something like the "Cydia" app? With Cydia, I know you had to download the different user-made settings and different things. Any knowledge on rooting would be great.

IPhone 4 - 8GB, Is it enough?

I lost my iPhone 2 days ago. I have look everywhere put haven't been able to find it. I don't have any tracking apps on my phone which is why I'm asking this question.
