Mobile fanatics who think PC's are dying out?
So, it is a fact that widespread use of personal computers as general computing machines is dying out.
I believe even in Asia that the main medium for connecting to the internet are mobile devices. This may possibly even true in the US at this point.
I understand the convenience of having a tablet or mobile device with a touch screen interface and "apps", however I think people are forgetting the importance of the PC, monitor, keyboard and mouse interface.
It seems like people don't know that mobile "apps" need to be developed, and they don't just come out of thin air.
And my point is, it is Way easier to develop software on a PC/laptop with a big external monitor, and a keyboard and mouse.
I can't imagine any developer who would give up their PC for a tablet or iPhone as their primary development platform.
Seriously, I can't imagine myself or anyone ever wanting to actually write software on a mobile device.
