My friend tried to buy an iphone off ebay, and paid but never received his phone. He emailed the seller who said they were out of stock and he would be refunded his money on his pay-pal account. He was never refunded his money. What should he do?
I bought an unlocked iphone 4s off of ebay (software is up to date). I bought a straight talk sim card, put the sim card in, and went through the activation process- but it still gives me the message "SIM Not Valid - please insert a compatible sim card"
the description of the phone on ebay specified that the phone s unlocked and compatible with any GSM carrier
PS i found a verizon sim card when i opened the phone…
I've wanted to jail break my iphone 4 for a while now. My mother says she "forbids" me to do so, because it'll mess up my phone. Is it as bad as people make it seem? I've read that you'll lose your data and during the process it can go terribly wrong.
I'm planning on purchasing an iphone on ebay and upgrading to a data plan with verizon wireless. However, I'm also heading off to college next year and will be needing a computer, so I also plan on buying a mac. Have there ever been any deals for a combination of a mac and an iphone that I should wait to buy an iphone for?

I wanted to get my unlocked IPhone upgraded, So I went to this shop That fixes broken iphones. He upgraded it, but then he couldn't unlock it back. So he gave me a substitute phone and told me that he'll factory unlock it for me for $60 and he'll call me once he's done He said it'll take a least one day (and he said that apple is down for maintenance or something). He didn't gave me no receipt or proof that he is working on my phone.
Do you think he stole my phone?

Added (1). I'm talking about unlocking it as you can use different phone providers like T-Mobile or At &t. When had my phone I had to use a gevey sim, now he said that the given sim wouldn't work and he has to factory unlock it so it wouldn't need the Garvey sim anymore.

I want to find an extended battery case with the ability to store or hold a credit card, id, or cash. I've found cases with one or the other, but not both.
