I'm a 19 year old, 5'11, 150lb male and I walk a lot. I don't feel tired, it's my preferred transportation and I thoroughly enjoy it. I don't usually keep track of how much I walk, but I just learned that my iPhone health app automatically does it. Everyday I'm averaging 11-15 miles completely without noticing it. I believe it's accurate because I do things like walk from Queens to Manhattan, (I live in NYC) or I'll be on 14st street and just start walking until I realize I'm at 198st, and then I'll walk back. I'm asking if there's any reasoning behind it because I feel compelled to constantly walk, not even run or jog… Just literally walk and walk without end. If I'm on the bus or train, I'll just get annoyed and get off to walk the rest of it. Maybe there's nothing deep to it, but I'm curious if there's because in all honesty, I know very few people of my nature. You'll hear "why can't you just drive or take the bus?" Long before you hear "sure, let's walk cross-city." So, just curious.
