How to copy my iPhone data to my computer?

My company is giving me a different phone and I need to back this one up first. I've attached the phone by USB to my Mac desktop and am syncing/backing-up via iTunes, but I don't think it's doing anything. My address book doesn't have the contacts from my phone, for example. How do I do this, and then where do I find the copied information to make sure it's even there?

Icloud support / won't back up apps?

I just got an iPhone yesterday and I wanna back up all my stuff, but i'm not sure how to do it.
I know about icloud and basicalyy I know it does this, so I've managed to backup my contacts, but thats it. I was told there's a way to back up everything, including all the apps on there. So how can I back up the individual apps on the phone, I went thru the settings and couldnt find anything

Added (1). @Marcos - I now see it in itunes, but is it actualyl being backed up? It just look likes its showing what's on the phone currently. I don't know how to back it up, and it doesn't look like its synced with icloud anyway. I'm very new to this stuff so I'm not sure what to do.

Can I buy an iPhone without a data package?

I'm interested in getting an iPhone, but I don't want to pay the ridiculous prices to get 4g or any kind of data package. If I got an iPhone, could I make it so that I could only use internet when there's Wi-Fi around so I wouldn't get charged the extra data fee?

Can I Use An iPhone On PagePlus?

I'm looking at iPhones right now, and my aunt has a service with PagePlus. She currently has me on a fifteen dollar plan, where I only get a limited number of texts, calls ect. I was wondering, though, if I can use a Verizon iPhone for said plan/carrier since PagePlus is owned by Verizon. Can I?

Dropped iphone 4 in the toilet, what do i do?

I have an iPhone 4 that i dropped in the toilet last week. I immediately put it in uncooked rice and took it out once a day and blow dried it but it still won't turn on. Any ideas?

ITunes on Apps tab Says Install on Some Apps?

I have a couple apps on my iTunes that say Install instead of the usual Remove. I've noted that these apps are the apps that I've had and then deleted, but not all of my deleted apps are on there. How do I remove these apps from my iPhone's iTunes?

On iTunes 11, right click --> delete does not show up.
On iTunes 11, going to the library and manually deleting them doesn't work either.
