IPhone 4s music downloading?

I have an iphone4s. I switched from a droid a few months ago. I was used to downloading songs for free from an app and it was easy. Now with the iphone, i find that it is way more complicated. I have to open itunes and save it to a folder from there then add to itunes then to my phone(for one song). I love my phone but the only hing i hate is that they make it so hard to get free music. I resist buying from itunes unless its not available anywhere else.

I just would like to know how some of you guys download music. Maybe an easier way than i do now.

IPhone 4s To Laptop Via Bluetooth?

My friend was able to connect his iPhone to his laptop via Bluetooth and use it as a kind of remote control with his music. I have tried to replicate this and failed. I have looked and a hundred different forums and tried various programmes and I can't get them to connect. I will post here the different processes I have gone through in the hopes someone can help me out.

1. I connected my phone using the Bluetooth on my laptop.

Bluetooth Devices>Add Device> Enter Pairing Code

I entered the paring code. On My phone it stated that connection was unsuccessful. But On my laptop the device was connected successfully, all though the driver was not installed.

I searched for the driver but could not find one, and told it was impossible to connect an iPhone 4S.

But then on another forum I was told it was possible, and that I needed to download Windows Mobile Device Centre. Which I did

I downloaded WMDC, but when I tried to install it, I got the error message that windows did not have the correct components.

I tried to find said components and was told that I had to download windows media player, Which for some reason is no longer bundled with your OS. But for the life of me I can't find a download for it!

This is where I'm now! So if anyone can understand this, and has any answers, or tips, or just a clear answer to why this will not work I will be very happy

How long should I leave my iphone in rice for? (water damage)?

So I dropped my phone in water today, it was only in there for about 5 or ten seconds before I took it out. The screen started flickering and turned off. About an hour and a half later when I got home I put it in rice. How long should I leave it there for?

Will charging my iPhone ruin my car battery if its off?

I'm currently in NJ and I'm one of those thousands that has its power out with no hope of it turning on soon. Inside my car I have a zagg dual USB car charger. If I plug in my phone or tablet to charge will it ruin my car battery if its not running on gas?

How to upload songs from my iphone?

My bother gave me his iphone while he is away for a few years and it has a lot of good songs but how do i upload them to my computer so i can wipe out everything else ( i have a different itunes account than him) and he doesn't trust me with his itunes info so how can i upload the songs to my computer so i can clear all data from it then re-download all the songs and not have to pay for them

How should I replace my iphone 4 with a 5?

My carrier is verizon, i've had my iphone 4 white for almost 2 years? It says 13.7 gb capacity too. I want to upgrade to a iphone 5, but should i try to sell my 4 and buy a 5, or find somewhere to trade, or just go directly through verizon? Or other options? For my first 2 options, where would be legitimate places to buy/sell/or trade?
