I ordered mine at the end of last month and got it the day before yesterday. I saw the specs on the verizon website and this is what it says:

GSM model A1429: UMTS/HSPA+/DCHSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz); LTE (Bands 1, 3, 5)
So would that mean that the iPhone 5 from Verizon is still unlocked? The Verizon iPhone 5 has a sim slot and I'm saying this because people who answered my last question said that it did not. I do not plan on opening up the iPhone 5 box until I can verify that it is unlocked. I will be paying the early termination fee so I wouldn't have Verizon service on it anymore. I know there are many articles stating that the Verizon iPhone 5 is in fact unlocked but those articles were from a month ago and I even asked Verizon representatives if they even ever were unlocked and all of them I've asked say "no".So for those who got their iPhone 5 from Verizon this month, are these models still unlocked? Please answer ONLY if you tried.
