Why is my iphone 4s saying Connect to ITunes to use push notifications?
I have an Iphone 4s. Today when I tried to download an app I got a message saying "unable to connect to Itunes." I tried resetting the phone but that didn't work, so I googled it and people were saying to reset all settings… Which I did. Needless to say… I got the same error, until I logged out of my whole Itunes account, and logged back in. Resetting all settings created a new problem within itself.
Everytime I try to access 3rd party apps, I get error message: connect to itunes to use push notifications. Again I reset the phone (using the home/lock buttons) Didn't work. I then googled again (not sure why google is leading me astray) and found out that restoring the phone helped numerous people also experiencing this pop up… It didn't work for me. I'm not sure if it's cuz I backed up the phone, then restored to backup or what. I'm going to try restoring the phone to factory settings, and then restoring from backup tomorrow I suppose, but wanted to know if anyone else has any other suggestions?
I also made sure that Notifications were turned ON for the applications I received the error for, as well as deleted and re-installed the apps. Not sure what else I can do… Please Help!
