I'm going to be very specific, because apparently there's way too much fine print anymore. And I'm tired of looking in vain at this store and that for a decent wireless plan.
Looking for a wireless carrier in the Northeastern US that has 4G, and an unlimited everything plan.
It MUST also have UNLIMITED Wi-Fi/USB TETHERING, one or the other I don't care. (I don't mind paying extra for it, AS LONG AS IT'S UNLIMITED)
No roaming charges inside the US(though I haven't seen anyone who does anymore)
Carrier must have some way for me to buy a large touch-screen Android phone (Moto Photon & Photon Q 4G, HTC Evo 4G, something like those) NO IPHONE, I hate apple and everything it stands for. I refuse to support them in any way, don't even have apple quicktime on my PCs. (I refuse to capitalize it also!)
Heres the thing. I liked Sprint, until they limited hotspot to 2/4gb, I refuse to pay for that. Sometimes I'm days without Wi-Fi (I roam on weekends frequently) and I won't be capped if I'm going to pay for the service. I like boost mobile too since the plans are cheaper, and this was my original choice, but they too are dropping the option to tether (yet the phones come with the capability!)
I don't mind full price for the phone, No 2year contract? No problem, I'll buy the phone, and/or sign the contract, long as I get those features
I don't mind paying $100~ for the entire plan afterwards either, assuming it has all the features I described. Again, with or w/o the contract.
I know there are hotspot cards available, but I'd rather not have an extra piece of hardware for something my phone can already do. Not to mention who needs another bill.
Any helpful feedback appreciated, I realize this is probably a huge stretch in today's society, but I can dream can't I?
