Why did iTunes delete all my apps?

I plugged my iPhone into the computer to download a song that I had bought. All I did was upload the song to my phone, press eject, and take it out.

When I went back to my home screen, all my apps were gone except 5 of them! Why did this happen!

Found an iPhone 4S, and I'm looking for the owner. What are the steps?

The owner is with Fido. I don't want to go to Fido and ask for the address of the owner.
Since the guy who works there can lie to me and give me the address of his friend. And take the phone and sell it. Same with apple store. I can't access to the phone to reach the contact list since it's locked with a passcode. Don't want to turn it in to the cops either.
So what is the safest way to proceed here? I really want to find the right owner? And I'm not keeping it so don't tell me to keep it or sell it. I've had this experience before. I lost a phone and I know that it sucks big time and it must be even worse when the phone is worth 800 bux.

Something is weird though I kept the phone on, I didn't turn it off at all and no one bothered to call to look for the phone. It's been three days now… Wtf!

I have a verizon iphone so it has no sim slot?

Ok so this is probably a bit of a stupid question but wiuld i still be able to change the carrier of the phone after it's unlocked i think the answer is no but thats y i'm asking u people out there.

Okay… This is the thing… Recently I gave my Wi-Fi password to my friend and he used to from his iphone… What can I do so that my friend won't get access to Wi-Fi the next time he comes to my place.
What I want to know is there anyway so that the iphone or any other device won't get access to my Wi-Fi again.

IPhone has clean ESN but I can't activate it?

I just purchased an iPhone 4s for Verizon through eBay. When I tried to activate it through iTunes, it is already set to someone else's phone number and there's no way to put in my phone information so I can use it on MY account instead. I assumed the ESN was bad so I checked on the verizon website lookup for ESN's to see if the device is eligible to be activated on the network and when I entered the phone's MEID, it told me that the device IS eligible to be activated on the network. Now, I assume that the ESN is CLEAN.So, I don't know what to do now to activate my phone. Any suggestions please?
