Why do people like the iPhone so much?

Again since no one answered my question. Thank you. I really don't see what's so great about it. I mean, they never added 4g to it till now? They always look the same, unlike android that always changes up their phones. The only difference I really see in the iPhone is the back part of it and the screen size. I feel like they are just copying android. Please tell me why? I don't care if whatever you reply to this is rude. I just really want to know what is so great about it? Additional Details. Another thing is that the screens break easy as hell. Why the *** would I waste my money on something so fragile?

OS X Mountain Lion and the IPhone 5?

Do I need OS X mountain lion installed on our mac before we can sync our iphone 5 with iTunes? Everytime we plug it in it says we need to upgrade, but our itunes says it is updated to 10.6.3 and is up to date.

How to know if something is a scam?

Like for example I went on Craigslist and it took me to this website saying I won a prize like either a new iPhone or ipad. I just skipped it because of the high risk it might be a scam. But I was wondering because the only information they asked me to give out was my e-mail address.could it still be a scam? Also how often does it happen to people that they give even the littlest information and then get no prize or worst into trouble?

Why does my iPhone 5 keep skipping songs?

Every time a try to play certain songs, it will just automatically skip to the next song. This happens with a number of songs, songs that I bought from iTunes.

IPhone 4S 8GB in terms of data storage?

I currently have a HTC Wildfire, I'm not sure what size but the storage is horrific, especially for apps. I'm thinking about getting an iPhone 4S 8GB for Christmas but I'm looking for an idea of what amount of songs, videos, pictures and apps can go on. I'm looking at a lot of pictures (around 500+), around 200 videos and about 100 songs. Apps will be a tricky one, because I have no idea how many I'd get. From what I've given, will 8GB be enough?

Iphone says connect to itunes but won't connect recovery mode doesn't work?

I have tried DFU recovery mode and the other recovery mode. I've tried it about 10 times. I also tried the iTunes directions for uninstalling every trace of Apple software ever installed on my computer and then reinstalling it. Still doesn't work. My Computer control panel does not recognize the device. I have tried using different iPhone cords and the cord isn't the problem. Whenever I connect/disconnect or put it into "recovery" mode, the computer makes a dinging sound like something's been connected or disconnected. But it doesn't show up in My Computer and iTunes doesn't recognize it. Help!

Added (1). I was able to connect the phone yesterday morning. It was updating to the new iOS6 software and the computer said an unexpected error occurred. And that's when it stopped working.

Small wound on bottom of foot swollen?

I stepped on something sharp in my house. It made a little hole in my foot, the size of the front facing camera on a iphone 4s. It bled a little bit so I cleaned it up with some water, peroxide, neosporin & a bandage. It was hurting a bit but nothing to bad until I came from work I took off the bandage the space around the little hole is fire red and it hurts super bad when I walk. I was standing up all day at work. This little hole hurts really bad and has now swelled into something bigger. When I walks its like I'm walking on a golf ball because of the swelling. What should I do?

IPhone headphone jack on the bottom?

Ok, so I saw those Samsung commercials where they joke on the people waiting in line for the new iPhone. One of the actors says, "The headphone jack… Is on the BOTTOM!" and then makes a motion like it explodes his mind. Now I figured this was just some stupidity making fun of the iPhone. Then I just saw a commercial for the new iPhone headphones and they show the person plugging it into the bottom of the phone. WHAT! The headphone jack really IS on the bottom? Is it just me, or is that the dumbest thing ever? So when you are listening to music, you have to put the phone in your pocket upside down? When you have it on in the car you have to put your phone upside down the cup holder? I really don't get it. Why would you put the headphone jack on the bottom of the phone? That seems quite asinine.

Added (1). Since I've been using the iPhone since 2008, I've gotten used to putting it into my pocket right side up. That would have to change my whole way of thinking. And I'm talking about sitting in the passenger seat. I don't know. I like it better on the top. Oh well.

Does AT&T and Verizon charge any hidden fees for plans?

I would like to get a 16gb iPhone 5 from Verizon on a 2-yr contract and I would like to use the 300mb of data - unlimited talk and text plan on it. On the site it says it will be 80$ but I would like to know if there are any extra hidden fees on it. There's also a AT&T plan that gives 300mb of data - 450min of talk and unlimited text for 80$ all together, does that have any hidden fees like tax or something. I'm not getting any insurance from them either.

P.S. If there are any hidden fees what will the total price be after them, if you have one of these plans could you tell me how much you pay on average

How to clean a Teal Otterbox case?

I have the teal otterbox case for iPhone 4/4S. I've had it for about 4 days and the silicone rubber part is all dirty. I put it in my jeans when i'm in school and the dye from the jeans goes onto the silicone part. I searched up how to clean an otterbox case but all that came up was put the white one in bleach. I paid $40.00 for this case and i will not go buy a new one because its a waste to have 2 cases. So i was wondering how would i clean it so it keeps its color. I was afraid that if i put it in bleach that the color might come out of it.
