Will my phone still send a text if i put it in airplane mode?

I accidently sent a picture to the wrong friend and before it could send i put my iphone in airplane mode.So it said it couldnt deliver it. But after i turn off airplane mode will my phone automatically resend it even if i delete the text? Its not a bad picture, i just don't want them to know i got a tattoo… Haha

No lol it won't resend it you have to tap the red icon next to it to resend it. But I would delete it before you take it off airplane mode then it shouldn't send

  • IPhone Problem: Airplane mode and text messaging? I switch my iPhone to airplane mode at night (so people can't wake me with late night calls etc) and when I go into places where there's no cell coverage (to save battery but still let me use camera and music). BUT When I switch it back off airplane mode it takes a Really LONG TIME to reconnect to sms service. Phone calls and internet work fine straight away, but texts take a really long time to sort themselves out. Very frustrating, does anyone else have this problem?
