Tethered Jailbreak For ios 6.1.3?

I have an iPhone 4S and I want a temporary jailbreak to hold me off until IOS 7 comes out
so I need a TETHERED Jailbreak for ios 6.1.3 and one that actually works unlike some of them. It would be pretty helpful it you provided a link too.

Such a jailbreak does not exist; the only tethered jailbreak available for iOS 6.1.3 is for A4 devices only.

The reason why this is so is because all A4 devices and below have boot-rom exploits, allowing tethered jailbreaks to be developed for them without having to find more exploits. A5+ devices do not have a boot-rom exploit available, and so user-land exploits (exploits in iOS) must be used to jailbreak.iOS 6.1.3 patched the exploits used to jailbreak iOS 6.0 - 6.1.2. The jailbreak developers do have exploits, but they are waiting to use them on iOS 7 (releasing them now for 6.1.3 - 6.1.4 would be a waste of exploits).

There's no jailbreak for 6.1.3, but you can install iOS 7 now if you register your device's UDID with a developer account through a site like http://www.udid.in/.It's $5, and then can try out the new OS before everyone else. That's how I got it on my 4S.

  • What's the difference between a tethered and an untethered jailbreak? I know one means if you restart the iPhone, it will get stuck on the apple logo during reboot. I want the one where you can restart it with no problems and I won't have to lose any data
  • What is the difference between tethered unlock and untethered? I just tethered unlock my iphone 3gs and from what i know unlock means you can use any carrier, what's the difference between the two? I unlocked my iphone coz local sim here in the philippines doesn't work with iphone.
  • Tethered to Untethered iPhone jailbreak? I understand that there's a tool in Cydia if you are currently using tethered jailbreak you can change to untethered jailbreak by downloading that tool. May I know what is the name of the tool and whether it still work for iPhone 4 iOS 6?
