Using my iPhone on vacation?

I was wondering if I turn my iPhone 5 on airplane mode for 2 weeks, will I be charged anything? And if I turn on Wi-Fi during that time will I be charged for Internet?

I don't think so

No you won't be charged for turning on airplane mode or Wi-Fi. But during airplane mode, you can't call or text or even use the Wi-Fi.
You'll only be charged if you turn on your "Cellular Data" and 4g/LTE

Under the airplane mode, you can't use the Wi-Fi nor any network and text and calling.whether you will be charged depends on your mode of paying.

Maybe you need to have your phone unlocked to use Wi-Fi in airplane mode. I have an unlocked tab2 and can use Wi-Fi in airplane mode

No you wouldn't be charged at all.

  • Will my iphone 4 work in Scotland while I'm on vacation? I live in Texas and I'm going to Scotland--will my iPhone 4 work? I just learned I will be able to connect through Wi-Fi. Does that mean I can use twitter?
  • What camera to get for vacation? I'm going on vacation to Mexico and I want a camera cuz I plan on going to a lot of different places. I take pictures with my iPhone daily but I know it's crap compared to a decent camera. I don't go on vacation often so I don't want to spend more than $200 so hopefully that will get me a decent camera. I'm not a pro so if you guys have some suggestions on what cameras are good during the day and night I would appreciate that.
  • Using my iPhone as camera while on vacation? I'm going on a cruise very soon but I want to use my camera on my iPhone without being charged a ton of money if I receive a text or call. Is there any way I would be able to turn those features off so I can use Wi-Fi and camera and such but no text, data, or phone calls?
