Is 24 hours long enough for iPhone in rice fix?

Okay so I was brushing my teeth and my iPhone 4s was sitting on the shelf above my sink and fell in. I have one of those flip up leather cases but it wasn't closed. I grabbed the phone and dried it with a towel. I then took it into my room to get my hair dryer and while doing this I got a text message. The phone was working perfectly. After doing some research I know now that I should have turned off the phone straight away but unfortunately I didn't. I then took off the leather case and held a cool hair dryer to the phone. While I did this my sister looked up the rice drying method and told me to turn off the phone immediately. Its now been sitting in rice in my airing cupboard for 24 hours and I'm wondering would be safe to turn it on now considering the phone was only under the tap for like 3 seconds and wasn't actually submerged in water and the phone was working 100% fine before I switched it off.

Dropped my iPhone in Hot Tub

So Saturday I had a Lifeproof case on my iphone 4 and i left a little thing open on the case. I was getting out of the hot Tub so it was only in water for like 5 seconds at the most. It completely turned off and nothing has happen since. I have it in rice right now. What should i do?

How to use a Verizon iPhone 4 on Virgin Mobile USA s service?

A close friend of mine gave me his iPhone 4 (he got the 4S, and the screen on the 4 is shattered. I'm repairing it as I speak.) and I was hoping that I could use it on my current carrier's service, which is Virgin Mobile. I don't want to jailbreak or unlock the phone, I just want to use it. How do I go about doing this?
