So, i have an iphone. And i use twitter.before i got my ohone i just had the twitter notifications to the people i was subscribed to sent to my phone. But i still use that but it sends me notifications too directly from twitter and i just want my texts. But how do i turn off the notifications without turning off my texts.
I bought an Iphone 4 off ebay which is on 3 network. The microsim didn't come with it so I took it to a phone shop to get it set up, however the man said the phone is blocked to all networks? How is this possible and if so, how to do I fix it!
For the past 3 months someone has been logging into my facebook account using an iphone, I have changed my password many times, and also changed my email password but they are still gaining access. I have tried to contact facebook directly but I can't find any contact information. I don't want to have to set up a whole new account as my boyfriend is in Afghanistan and he can sometimes get internet connection to send me a few messages on there. I know they are getting on almost everyday as I can see when I go on to account settings, click on security and then active sessions as it shows up in there with the time they logged on.
I jail broke to use the iPhone as an iPod & i can't restore all of my music/apps/photos to it because iTunes still says " there's no sim card in the phone you are attempting to activate" how can i get itunes to recognize the phone as 'activated'?

but i don not want applications like ebuddy or whatsapp where both phones must have the same app.

I'm going to buy a new phone and I can't decide between Samsung Galaxy Note and iPhone 4S.
I know a lot of things about iOS already and I've grown to be comfortable with it, and I would love to get an iPhone 4S, but I'm just a college student and I'm on a budget (I don't want to ask money from my folks).So, I'm wondering if it's worth ditching iphone for a galaxy note, or should I just stick with the iphone?
here are my needs:
internet anytime anywhere (much like iphone's cellular data)
a good camera (sometimes this is what I use for notes.)
school-related apps like dictionary, converter, encyclopedia, etc (this is what made me love iphone)
.basically that's it.
I would also like to know if Samsung Galaxy has these apps:

Foursquare
Viber
The trouble is these songs arent from itunes, so i can't "sync" itunes with it, is there a way?
