Why buy a gb iphone when you can get icloud?

Ok so i was looking at prices for iphones and the 16gb iphone4s was £499 but the 32gb was £599. With icloud storage you get 5gb free and you can buy 10 more gb for just £14 a year. This means that if you had an iphone4s 16gb and paid £14 a year for 10gb extra storage your iphone would actually have 31gb. So why on earth would you pay £100 more for an iphone4s 32gb when you could pay £10?

Is there any fees when buying an iPhone?

I'm planning to get an iPhone from Verizon and the iPhone 4 is $99.99 with the 2 year contract. If I get the 2 year contract will I only have to pay $99.99 or is there any fees? If there's please tell me about how much will it be. (not the plans just how much to walk out the door with it) Thanks!

What does iphone mean when it says 879 MB sent and 4.6 GB received?

I've just purchased a new iPhone and I'm still a bit new to understanding a couple terms. Anyway, I've read that to calculate data you have to add the two (sent and received) but is it still the same for when one is in MB and the other is in GB?

Please help as I would like to make sure I haven't exceeded my total data usage.

Is Wi-Fi text messaging from iphones free to non-iphones? - 1

My boyfriend downloaded this texting thing on his iPhone that allows him to text me when he's out of the country without charging him extra for long distance. Will I still be charged if I text him? There's a different number when he texts from Wi-Fi so I will be sure to text that, but will I be charged anyways?

How to charge my iPhone in my car without an actual car charger?

I'm going on a long road trip. Since the iPhone battery doesn't usually last long, i was wondering if there's another way to charge my phone without a car charger. Because my lighter doesn't work due to a broke fuse in my fuse box… Anyway- is there any alternative to keeping my phone charged?

Can I put a vodafone pay as you go sim in an iPhone?

I'm from america, moving to the UK. I'm cancelling my phone plan here when I move and I'll have a useless iphone. Vodafone sent me a pay as you go macro sim which would fit into my iphone 4. Could I use that sim and still pay as I go like 10 pounds or so as much as I need or would I have to pay for all the stupid mobile data plan etc etc. In the US you can't do contractless smart phones, so I'm wondering if it will work for this as I'm on a tight budget and would like to keep my phone without spending more than I want.

My iPhone 3G won't reconnect when plugged into iTunes?

So I accidentally disabled my iPhone, right? It says to plug into iTunes to reconnect. I plugged it in to an iTunes user which isn't registered with the phone (the old computer crashed), but I thought it would still work. When I plugged it in, iTunes came up with a box saying "You must enter password before connecting with iTunes." But the screen of my phone still says "Connect to iTunes." Incredibly obnoxious. Any clue what to do?
