Just a heads up, i know little to nothing about phones so please bare with me. My friend gave me a sprint iphone 4 he found, but I have metro pcs. Is there any way i can activate the phone without having to switch to sprint? If i go to a sprint store can they do it for me?

MY PARENTS THINK I'M BEING RUDE, AND MY FAMILY STOP REPLYING BACK TO MY EMAILS BECAUSE OF THIS. THIS IS LIKE LITERALLY RUINING MY LIFE, MY FRIENDSHIPS, AND MY FAMILIES THROUGH EMAILS. I ordered the new iPhone 6s plus (rose gold) on September 12th (the first day you could pre-order) the actual phone doesn't go into stores until the 25th. I know its going to arrive after the 25th. But I've never pre-ordered anything before. And it says I won't get it until a month from now. I wanted to know the point in pre-ordering, if you get it after everybody else. Or will I get it before a month from now?

Like lets assume I tweaked my iPhone so that when you press the iPhone button, you get electrocuted and may get seriously injured. Is it legal to do something like that to deter thieves? Like I can go to places where people often steal and put the iPhone in the side pocket of my backpack so that it looks vulnerable. Do you think its morally right to do something like that? I mean it's not my fault that they stole my gadget! Right?
