How to get songs from my computer to my iPhone?

Ok I know this sounds like a dumb question, but it won't let me drag music from my iTunes library onto my iPhone whenever I'm on my mac, but if I'm on my dell computer it works just fine. Is there some random setting I need to turn on that I don't know about? I'm logged into the same apple ID on both my phone and computer, so I don't think it's that. So any computer techies out there who can help… Thanks!

Added (1). Also I don't want to sync it, because I have songs on my phone that aren't on my mac computer, and I don't want to lose those. So is there a way to do it without syncing?

Added (2). Ok other side note, I just went to look at it, and it doesn't give me the option to sync, all the boxes are grayed out.

If apple allowed jailbreak as an option for more money?

If people like their iphones jailbroken and download it for free why not no more worries option, you can always update ios and still be jailbroken only from apple.
I see a lot of features on ios7 that is an idea from cydias tweaks. If you want a jailbroken iphone 5s when it comes out you will have an option to pay $50 more
on a two year contract. Would you like this option if Apple does it they probably won't though because they are boring compared to android. If apple had their own jailbreak they could make alot more money that way am i right, yes i'm right than people will sell their android devices and buy ios devices instead.

BT homehub 4 dropping signal a lot, does yours?

I used to be with O2 broadband and never lost signal. However BT Infinity 2 became available and as we can't get cable I jumped at the chance. I got a homehub 3 free and it was ok with regard to not dropping signal but go nowhere near the 64Mbps as quoted so I paid for a homehub 4 two weeks later however the signal drops about twice a day (on iPhone and iPad). I just have to turn Wi-Fi off and back on again once or twice and it usually works however its starting to really annoy me. Does your homehub 4 do the same or do you know how to fix it?

What will happen about this?

I live in the UK.
I dropped my Apple iPhone down the toilet. It completely broke. I have no insurance.

So I went into the store and they said they will book me an appointment with the genuis bar and will give me a 'new' iPhone.

Will this be a refurbished one or not? Also, what does refurbished ACTUALLY mean?

Is my connection unreasonable slow?

I'm running a 1.5mbps dsl connection through at&t. I understand 1.5 is a low and relatively slow connection, but is it slow enough that it should fail to buffer any kind of web page at least 10% of the time? It also won't buffer any youtube video above 240p without like an hours loading and won't hold a stable Wi-Fi connection with a PS3 or iphone. Understanding its a slower connection, is it supposed to be that slow?

Added (1). In response to Jason. 1.5 mb/s converts into 192KB/s. So I was curious how dividing it by 8 gives you the speed in kilobytes?
