I've been having problems with my iPhone getting stuck in headphone mode, and I've tried everything that I found online and nothing will work. I have insurance for my iPhone, but I don't know if they will replace the phone because it has one small crack in it? If I'm going there because of the problem with the external volume, will I have to file a claim through Asurion to get a new phone because it has physical damage?
Basically I have recently changed the screen on my iPhone 4 and carried it all out properly (I've changed ios screens previously) however afterward the phone is just stuck in recovery mode with the connect to itunes symbols. Once I try to restore I just get an error (3014) which stops the process. The phone was 100% working before the screen change. Is this a hardware issue? I have checked all the ribbon cables several times. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Right now I have an IPod Touch 4g and I'm about to get a phone. I've never had an android but it looks really interesting. Also, all my friends have iphone. One reason that I want to switch to android is because apple hardware is really falling behind at apple and software is getting boring. Please give me actual reasons for which one you think is better.
My iPhone 4s got wet. It's all dry now but the microphone is not working.
My theory is that it still has moisture in it. I already tried leaving it on dry rice for over 24 hours. It didn't work, the microphone still can't record so I left it again on dry rice.
Is there a more effective method to remove the moisture in the microphone?
My smartphone is iPhone 3GS and I tried to connect it to my laptop but now all my contacts have disappeared.iTunes backup did not help me at all so are there other ways to recover? I'm desperate, if anyone has a fix for this problem, sharing is caring!
My Wi-Fi was working fine up until yesterday afternoon when I tried to reconnect it and it wouldn't. I then left my home to a shopping centre where I usually get Wi-Fi and it wouldn't work there either. I tried turning off my phone and turning it back on and it still won't work. My Bluetooth also isn't working, it just has that loading circle symbol next to it. My Wi-Fi doesn't even give me the option to turn it on it just stays grey and says "OFF". I updated my software to 6.1.3 a few weeks ago, so I don't think that is the problem. Someone please help!

So my iPhone 3 broke, and rather than try to sell it for a few bucks, I want to try to prank my brother. My goal is to hand him the phone, and have it slide right out of his hand and 'break' on the ground. I'm not sure what would be the best product to make the phone really slippery.
I obviously only want to use things that are safe to handle with your hands and have no harmful fumes, but I want to make sure it's slippery enough that it slides out of his hand. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
I found a iPhone 5 at a club, when I told them about it they said if know one calls to say they lost it that I can just keep it! So now I get to keep it as they had no one claim it… It has a pass code on it, so it is basically useless to me. Does anyone no how I can reset it or get into it without knowing the pass code?
I want to give my iPhone to Poseidon but I'm afraid that dropping an iPhone in the ocean will be bad for the environment. What harm would an iPhone do if any, besides just littering in the ocean?
