My iphone 5 turns off when I send a text?

So I dropped by phone in water yesterday, so I put it in rice over night with a light shining on it and when I turned it on this morning, all was good. However as soon as I send a text message my phone just turns off, do I need to take the sim card out?

My debit card was stolen & I'm pressing charges; What can I expect in Court?

My debit card was stolen by a local 19 year old. He used it at his workplace (which is where he picked it up), a gas station, & a few stores online. The amount all together totaled $251.23 (He was dumb enough to ship all these purchases to his house & used his personal email as a contact which is how I found him) I'm pressing charges.

Now, I have been subpoenaed to appear as a witness in court. What can I expect? Is he just being charged for petty theft, or is it something else because he made purchases online? He should have had to sign for the charge at his workplace. Would that be a forgery or identity theft charge?

The sad thing is, had he apologized & offered to pay me back, I wouldn't be pressing charges. He just kept lying, & told people I was stalking him when I confronted him & his boss at the place he worked. Then he tried saying it was some unnamed friend that was in town for that one day, that he has no way of contacting. Apparently this fictional person "borrowed" his iPhone because the thief is just that trusting & all the items were then sent to his house.

What exactly should I expect to happen? What will be expected of me? What will his punishment be?

Added (1). Also, what type of questions will the defense try to use to discredit me as a witness?

How to get a refund from apps (iphone)?

So my little sister without me knowing bought a lot of apps and tokens that totaled around 300 dollars.
so i try to go to my purchase history and report a problem but it just redirects me to the apple.com/support website.

Can I upgrade from an iPhone 3 to a 5?

I have an I phone 3 with Verizon, I was just wondering if I could upgrade directly to a 5 or do I have to go to a 4 then wait 2 years AND THEN get the 5. Do I have to upgrade phone by phone?

IPhone 4S exchange emails not working?

All of a sudden my iPhone 4S has stopped receiving emails to my exchange account (work emails) however I'm getting emails to yahoo account (personal) on the same phone.
Sending emails also working strange as sometimes it doesn't work and when it does, it may take a day!
Please note that I send emails using yahoo account from mobile.

My exchange account is working ok on my laptop and iPad so I'm sure it's to do with phone or phone settings.

My battery is also draining quickly.

Few days ago, I changed the notification settings of many apps to off (to improve battery life), and I suspect that email issue started since then. Now I have put old settings but no joy. I have also rebooted iPhone, deleted exchange email account and set again, reset network settings - no luck.

Any suggestions please? Thank you in advance.

I just bough an used iphone 4 for 300$ yesterday. I already create an free apple id account, Now i want to buy a few paid app on app store (extremely needed). But i don't have cradit card or itunes gift card. I live in poor Asian country and i spend all my 5 month salary to by an iphone. Now i hold 10$ on my hand, my dream's app is in front of me. But I can't buy it… Sick.

How to get lyrics for songs on iPhone 4?

On my iPhone 4 the lyrics of a few songs are on the screen when I'm in the music app. I want it to do this for all songs. Also I don't have access to a computer at the moment so could I do it from my phone?

What did my husband do to his iPhone?

He changed something. Before I could go to the most far left screen and type in part of a conversation we had had and bring up those messages. Now I can't link anything to keywords I type on, nothing through email or text messages at least.

Dropped iPhone4s in water, now speaker not working?

Before I start please no body say 'its your fault for taking it in the bath' cause I know it is.

Anyway my iPhone slipped from the side of the bath into the actual bath, I caught it as fast as I could and I chucked it back on the side of the bath. It was probably under the water for about 2 seconds. When I eventually told myself what had happened, I picked up my phone and switched it off. I then dried it with a towel and took the case off the back to dry the back aswell. I did turn my phone back on to see if it was working and it was apart from the speakers.

I left my phone turned off and in a tin of rice over night, I've turned it back on and everything seems to be working fine apart from the speakers at the bottom because literally no sound is coming out of them? Also the speaker where you can hear people speaking on the phone isn't working. I can still listen to music if I have my headphones in but that's it.

I'm not sure how I'm supposed to tell my parents cause they will go mad! Does anybody know how much it costs to go to the store to get it fixed and how long it takes?
Or is there any kits where you can do this yourself at home?
