Can iphone not charge Fully?

I got an Iphone 3g a while ago, and it quit charging with the charger (fake) it came with. I found out the charger was broken, so I used an Old one to charge it, although it was a car charger, so it could only be charged in a car. It was a hot day, and the car's battery could still charge my phone when it was off. I left it in the car at 25%, and I came out 5 Hours later, and it was only at 50%. Could this be because of the Hot weather making the iphone not want to take a charge, or something to that affect?

Can I Cancel My Contract W/ AT&T?

My bill for my iphone is a bit steep for me. So I'm wondering if I can get the Straight Sim card that is compatible with AT&T. BUT before I do that, I'm sure I would have to cancel my contract… Can I even do this?

I just downloaded the latest iTunes and my iPod is no longer compatible with it. However, my old version of iTunes wasn't compatible with my phone. Is there a version of iTunes that is compatible with both devices? If so, where can I download it? Thank you!

Added (1). Whatever the latest iOS Apple sent out to iPhones was, that's what my phone is running i believe it's 6.something.

Why do people call me a prep?

Hi, I'm 14, in junior high, and people always call me a prep-which is understandable because middle schoolers are very ignorant to real 'groups' and cliques. I wear Lacoste, Raulph Lauren, Abercrombie, UGG, Sperry, Campus Vans, some Hollister, I only have but am not limited to Apple products (I have the iPhone 5, iPod, iPad 2 and a Mac). But I don't consider that a true prep. Even my teachers have called me a prep -.- I know, sad, haha. I've had one teacher say something like, "The paper is back there by preps are us." Referring to where I was sitting. Haha, is there a reason why?

Standard of course as in unlimited texts & calls, internet, etc. I would like one, but it seems so expensive, especially the internet. And if you don't get internet. Its not really worth having.

When you restore an iphone from itunes backup does it restore messages?

I need to restore my iPhone 4S in iTunes, will I lose my messages or will it leave the messages from my most recent back up?
