How to recover texts from broken iPhone?

My iPhone 5 screen went completely black and I was without a phone for 2 weeks and now i'm using my old galaxy and just put my Sim card in it. But when I put my Sim card in the galaxy I'm not receiving any of my texts messages that I've received over the last two weeks (my iPhone was still able to turn on I just couldn t see any of my texts)

Why won't skype connect?

I've been trying to skype this person for the past 4 days. Initially I thought it was a common bug since the heartbeat thing said there was an issue. But I checked recently and it says it's been fixed 3 days ago. Why then won't it connect? It won't even ring outgoing. If I try to call them it pulls up the connecting screen but it's just silent and then it drops the call. If they call me, it doesn't even go through. I have Skype version 7.37.0.103 on a desktop and they have version 6.35.1 on an iphone if that makes a difference. We've been skyping successfully for a while now without troubles. So I don't get it.

Added (1). Technically I only use Skype to show them stuff on my computer (i.e. Youtube, games, etc.) so if there's better programs to do that, it'd be nice to know.

Are 60 floors the same thing as flights of stairs?

This may be a silly question, but if my iphone tells me that i went 60 floors is that 60 flights of stairs? Is that the same as just climbing a 60 floor building?

i'm beginning training for a charity event where we will climb a 105 story building. I have been practicing by climbing 60 "floors" a day so far. So how am i doing? Lol

Can I use my old T-Mobile iPhone 5s while my Sprint iPhone 7 is being repaired?

My Sprint iPhone 7 is having hardware problems, but I need a working phone As soon as possible (my job is through my phone). I called Sprint to ask if my iPhone 5s from T-mobile would be compatible.

At first they said yes, and then they said no that it would have to be a Tmobile iPhone 6 or higher.

Is there a way I can jailbreak it for it to work or something? I need a solution.

Can you post on Instagram without Wi-Fi or connection?

I'm going to vermont in a few days and I'm being told there's absolutely no connection there, which doesn't make sense to me unless I'm in the mountains. I have an iphone so I get good Wi-Fi just about anywhere. Is there really 0 connection in somewhere like vermont? I need to use my instagram for only a few minutes to post something. Is there a way I can post something without perfect connection?
