How to temporarily disable find my iPhone?

Ok, so I'm across the country at college, and I'm flying home for a week to surprise my family. My mom uses "find my iPhone" and occasionally tracks my location, which is fine, but I don't want to ruin the surprise when IIm coming home. I also don't want to permanently disable it. Is all I have to do is go into location services, then system services, then switch off the find my iPhone app? I have an iPhone 6, not the plus.

It started yesterday and it becomes hot when using it. I didn't install new app or didn't do something new. I use vpn connection all the time does vpn connection have to do with this? And also i wanna know if vpn needs connection needs extra battery juice?

Do Bob Ross' paints really cost that much?

So aftert downloading the Bob Ross app on my iPhone I found out that only his paints work in the way that they do. As in "allowing you to paint layer on top of layer, without it becoming a mud mixer".

So I searched up his paints, and I found 14 tubes of 37ml, it has all the colours he ever used (or at least most of them). But the problem is, it costs £79.99! Are they really that expensive, or is someone trying to rip people off?

I thought he was all about helping people paint and allowing them to enjoy it without having to learn all the unnecessary stuff. But here I'm looking at someting costing me almost £100, which will last me for about 2 or 3 paintings if I were to use (on average) a canvas of 40" x 50".

Can someone please tell me if they really cost that much, and if so. Is there any possibility in the world that I could somehow get an unused set for much cheaper?

I have a iPhone 6s Plus and I'm looking for a engaging story that's a rpg i've played most of the final fantasys and chrono trigger ff6 and chrono trigger were absolutely amazing and now that I have beaten them I feel empty what can I play next similar to the story telling and gameplay as those any suggestions?

Iphone 5 keeps displaying lines on screen before shutting off and rebooting?

This morning when I woke up, I noticed my phone didn't charge over night so when I tried to figure out what happened, my phone kept shutting down. It does this every 2-10 minutes and I don't know what to do. Does anyone know how to fix this at home? Like could I erase everything and restore? Would that help? This is really frustrating because I can barely use my phone.

I'm having trouble clearing up space. I have not that many pictures. Only 4 apps downloaded myself. Cleared all of my useless texts, emails, history, and reminders. I even deleted some more pictures. What's the most efficient way to clear up space on an iPhone 4?

Giving my Pen Pal my home address?

We're both adults, and live in different countries.
We email and click well, we would like to send letters/small packages occasionally.
Is it safe to give a pen pal my name/home address?
I trust the person and I think writing letters every so often would be fun,
but I just want to make sure its safe.

I can't afford a PO box at the moment.
So is there any risk/danger? I'm pretty sure i'm just being paranoid for no reason.
