I was trying to check Medical ID and accidentally slid the Emergency SOS slider instead. Unlike the single previous time I accidentally slid it, it didn't give me a 5-second warning and time to cancel, but started dialing right away. I instinctively hit the "end" button instantly - less than 2 seconds into dialing - and am wondering if Emergency Services system would have still auto-completed. I haven't gotten a call back but I'm no longer where it went off, so I can't say I know that no officers went to check. I know to stay on the line and report it was a false dial, but I was expecting a "cancel" button once I realized what I did and hit "end call" instinctively in its place before I could think of this. Also, I don't have a SIM card at the moment, so I'm not sure if the call back would go through the 911 transponder or try the phone's normal call system. I'm worried they might think there's an emergency or that I'm trying to play a dumb prank. (Bit of a design flaw on Apple's part, removing the countdown. Auto-call is off, so that's not why it did this.)
