So I dropped my iPhone 5s into the toilet, I managed to get it out after about 5 seconds of twisting and turning. I removed the case and dried it as best I could, including shaking any remaining water out through the speakers. While this was happening, Siri kept coming on randomly and I kept having to turn it off, however after I dried it it was fine. Though oddly my phone turned itself off later in the evening and I had to do the sleep+home button to turn it back on. Then when I woke up, my home button outright wouldn t work, so I turned it off and then tried to turn it back on. However, an iTunes logo with a charger symbol below it showed up for a good 10-20 minutes before turning back on. Home button still wouldn t work, and now the home button kind of works, however it doesn't act as it normally does. It sometimes turns on Siri, sometimes acts as if I double clicked, and occasionally works normally. Also as my home button started working Siri has started coming on out of no-where. What should I do? Will it pass in a day/week or will I have to get it checked out, or are there any tricks I can do from home? Preferably 1 or 3 as my dad would kill me if he found out I dropped it in water…
