Metro pcs services switched over to Iphone?

So currently Apple has a deal going on where if you come in and turn in your current iPhone. You can deducted the price of an IPhone XR or XS depending on the condition. I currently have an iPhone I don't use hoping to turn it in to deduct some of the price of an XR.

So I was wondering. I currently use an android on metro pcs. Would apple be able to switch my services from my android to apple? Would I be able to keep my same plan & bill? I pay $30 a month & I was wondering if I would keep paying that if I pay for the iPhone n full?

Is iPhone and Android merely tastes or is their a socio-economic element involved?

I got in an argument with my friend, Tyler and he said that Androids and iPhones are not really aesthetic like choosing film directors or Beatles vs Rollingstones.

Androids are directed more for working class people and iPhones for middle and upper class.

I've seen old ladies in the bus with iPhones, I've seen janitors, waiters, all kinds of people with iPhones.

Now granted, you do see apple more in the working class than you see Android in the upper class but I don't think its too much thr argument.

What do you think?

Are iPhones really that fragile, or are people just careless?

I've never had an iPhone before and have been thinking about getting one in the coming months. I wanted to get some opinions from you regular iPhone users about their durability, because it seems to me like people are always breaking the screens on them with so much as one drop. Now, I'm not the type of person who is always dropping their phone, and never in the history of me owning phones have I ever broken or cracked a screen or anything like that. And I always keep my phone in some type of case for extra protection.

Would I have still received Whatsapp messages if I had the iMessage button switched off in Settings on my iPhone 5?

For some reason, I got a notification telling me that iMessage wasn't enabled, and gave me the option to enable it. I have no idea why it wasn't enabled already? But I'm concerned that iMessage being switched off would have interfered with receiving Whatsapp messages, as I use Whatsapp a lot.
I'm not very good at technology. I'm thinking that both iMessage and Whatsapp use internet for the messaging, and maybe having the iMessage off would affect Whatsapp too.
My brother tells me that it wouldn't be affected, but I'm just wanting to be sure. Any answers or help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

What Does This Dream Mean?

Night before last, a small part of my dream included my ex's father calling my phone. Give a little background on this man, my ex and his father do not get along and can be dangerous. He's controlling. However, he doesn't know about me or so I think. Reason being is because of religious differences. Anywho, part of my dream I was lying in my bed and I received a phone call. Mind you I have an iPhone. Strangely enough, a name of unknown individual pops up. I don't recognize it, but then the actual name (his father's name) popped up at the bottom and my phone automatically canceled the call. I do know the father's name. I was thinking about his recently and felt like my phone canceled that call in a protective way. Any idea what this means? I thought that was strange. I haven't had that happened before.
