I cracked my screen and got it fixed at a repair shop. When it was returned to me I couldnt use headphones in it because the phone won't recognize that headphones are inside the jack.
I've tried cleaning for lint with a paper clip, paper clip + tape, Q-Tips, metal pick but still nothing. What do I do now?
Hi, I got Beats Solo HD for Christmas of 2014 and they have been working great until around the end of April this year. When I plug them in, this LOUD static/helicopter sound begins to blare through each headphone. It gets louder and louder until I press the center button on the RemoteTalk cable. Once I press it, the sound completely stops and I'm able to listen to music without any problem. Sometimes they only work in one ear and I have to unplug them, then replug them and the sound starts up again. Has anybody had this happen to their Beats within a couple months of ownership? I can't return them back to the store because it has been almost 6 months. What is wrong with them and what can I do to fix them? My mom had put these on layaway for me at Walmart and paid $150 for them. If I tell her what is happening, she'll think I did something to break them because I have an awful history of being careless with headphones. I always keep my Beats in their case when I'm done with them and I haven't dropped them or anything. I have no idea why they are acting up! Please let me know how I can fix this problem as it's really annoying. Thanks for answering!
Added (1). I tried them on my iPhone and the song plays clear like nothing is wrong. No helicopter sound or working in one ear. Once I switched them back on my laptop, the helicopter sound starts and won't stop until I press the button on RemoteTalk.
I have been researching and found drop tests, but they've been from head height. If I were to drop my phone (and for it to land on its face) it would probably be from my pocket or chest level. Can anyone help me out?
If you already have a new iPhone with decent storage, would it benefit you significantly to get an iPod for music? Could you get something less expensive if what you wanted was just a bunch of easily available portable music storage?
I have 2 cases, one is a clear plastic one, and the other is a black, metal tortoise case. The plastic one is raised slightly above the screen which is good for if you drop it, and is clear so you can see the back. But the black metal one gives you that nice cool feeling when you pick it up and isn't raised, meaning it doesn't protect the screen in any way. Which one should I use?
So yesterday I connected my iPhone to iTunes because I wanted to buy some music, and once I had downloaded those songs I disconnected my phone. Next thing I know half of my music is gone, almost all those songs are the ones that I no longer have on my laptop. The way the songs are on my phone is when you don't finish downloading it and it skips them… Anyway to fix this?
Girlfriend for a year and a half I bought her a phone and we just broke up 4 months after. Should I take it back? All the payments were made by me she didn't give me a cent. Even her monthly payments by me. We broke up because I refused to pay her other bills and she's being a gold digger.
I'm So CONFLICTED help.
