Would my Iphone backup still be usable?

Right now i'm running iOS 7.1.2 and i want to downgrade my iphone to 7.0.6 (to jailbreak it). If i backup my iphone while running 7.1.2 could i still put everything back on while running 7.0.6?

Added (1). I'm using an iPhone 3GS. My battery was at around 45%, but the phone crashed (went to black screen with Apple logo). Then after about 5 minutes it rebooted itself. This happened 3 times.

Could it be the cheap aftermarket charging cable it was plugged into at the time, even though I had plenty of battery power left?

We all know about apple. I've dropped my iPhone, and They said to come and collect it after a week, Since I use text for most, I'm feeling bit uncomfortable. So I know iMessages work in Mac and Macbook. Does the same work on windows when run using a Virtual Machine Software such as VMware? Using a cracked OS X Mavericks Image File? If you could help me, well Please!

Why won't my iPhone 4s camera focus?

So I've tried everything to try and make it focus. I tapped it with my finger, sort of smashed it on the table, I've had a look to see if the plastic is covering it, I've tapped to focus, and I hold it really far from the lens, like really far, and it never decides to focus. I don't know what to do. I think I might need to change my phone. Does anyone have any advice?

I have an Iphone 3GS
At first it wouldn't last more than 30 minutes without charging, then one day the battery started expanding, making a crack in the back case.

I can see the battery from the crack, it had expanded but yesterday my small cousin decided it would be fun to pop a small hole with a needle in the battery from that crack

I can smell some kind of patex-super glue odor coming out of that tiny hole

What are the chances of the battery exploding with the phone in my hands?
