IPhone internet history same as Laptop?

I was just browsing the internet this afternoon on my laptop and then just now I was on the internet on my iPhone and the suggestions that come up for recently searched stuff on Google was exactly the same as on my laptop. Word for word. How can this be? I'm guessing it is to do with my Google Account being the same on both devices and maybe that has picked it up… But if not, surely this is an insanely obvious lack of privacy and confidentiality somewhere along the line?

Can I ' Reset All Settings ' on my unlocked iPhone 4s?

I want to Reset all settings on my iphone 4s because the Wi-Fi has been acting a little weird lately and it won't detect Wi-Fi that is more than 5 ft away from me so i wanted to try to reset all settings before i take it somewhere to get it fixed to see if the problem is actually the Wi-Fi Antenna. I'm scared though because my iPhone 4s is not factory unlocked and resetting all settings might block my phone.

The iPhone 5c was bought off eBay from America. It is from a sprint carrier and apparently it is blacklisted. Since it got shipped here, Australia, I want to change it to vodafone ( a different carrier). Is there I way I can switch it without any defects in the future?
