Will apple cover my iPhone 4 damages?

So I've had my iPhone 4 for about 7 and a half months now, the lock button seems to have gotten stuck, will this be covered by the apple warranty, or do i have to get this fixed myself?

Is downloading music from a mp3 website legal?

If i download music from a website like mp3skull.com can i get in trouble? I know its illegal but i always assumed that it was the website that was breaking the law for providing copyrighted material but i just want to make sure. If i can get in trouble how could they find out? Would they have to go through my iPhone?

Custard spilled on iPhone - speaker not working?

My friend spilled frozen custard all over my iPhone 4s and I cleaned it right away. Everything seemed to work fine. When I got home around 30 minutes later, I noticed the sound coming out of the speakers (music, other apps, notifications) sounded distorted and at the same time kind of quiet. I took a closer look and realized that the dock connector was full of custard and I tried to clean it with a toothpick. The speakers seem fine from the outside, but something must cause the weird sound.
Is there any way to clean them without taking apart the iPhone?

I bought it on ebay and it was working perfectly fine - but paying for apple to fix it wouldn't make any sense, since that will probably cost more, than I bought the phone for.

I appreciate ANY kind of advice, I just got the phone 1 month ago and I'm Really sad about all this. I know, I should be happy that the rest is okay, but it kind of sucks, since this is my first iPhone and I've been taking care of it.
