Video editing for aftermovie?

I went on a holiday to Kreta last week and I want to make a cool aftermovie with the stuff we filmed. I have a few hours of video from the GoPro3 and some video's/photo's from our iPhones. I want to know which editing software I need to do this. I had Sony Vegas Pro installed once and it worked fine, but if Pinaccle does a better job for what I want, or it is easier to use for someone who doesn't know everything about editing, then that's what I'll install. What do you recommend?

How to completely backup my iphone?

I got an old iphone 4, and I plugged it in to my computer. Itunes said it can't sync with the phone because the itunes was out of date, but when i tried downloading a newer itunes, it said the computer was too out of date. So I don't know how to get music onto my phone.

If you can get the call sometimes. Please do not make any stupid comments like everyone knows that becuz I did not know. If you have the do not disturb on then that would be the reason, turn it off. I did not know this and even the apple store did not tell me this, or online.
