I recently cracked my iPhone 4s screen and got it repaired by a third party company (so not Apple). Just now I figured out that whenever I record video or use Facetime, all I hear is annoying static. I want to take it to the Apple store since my warranty isn't up yet, but I heard that if you take the back of the phone off, the warranty is void. Is that true?
My iPhone 5 has randomly stopped charging… Never had any sort of issue with it before, just plugged it in as usual and it will not charge.
When I plug it in and it comes up with the picture on the right:
So confused as to what this means and I can't seem to find an answer online although I did see someone say that indicates that the battery is completely gone… I really hope this isn't the case as I can't afford to replace the battery at all right now and I need my phone to work urgently.
Has anybody had this problem before? Should I try buying a new USB? Thanks
Added (1). I have tried plugging it in my laptop but still nothing.
I dropped my 3GS a while back and the screen shattered, it cracked again today after I accidently hit it, so would an upgrade be less likely to crack?
When I first bought my iphone I was on an individual plan about a week later my mom bought herself an iPhone and wanted to get on my plan. Long story short, my phone bill is almost $300 every month! I'm friggin 19 years old and it's annoying. Can I take her off of my plan? Will there be a fee? I don't want to cut her phone off, just take her off my plan and put her on her own
So i have an Iphone and my step dad turned off the cellular data network. I can't get internet without Wi-Fi. And it is getting really ignoring. So how do i turn back on the 3G internet so i can connect places without Wi-Fi.
I don't even know what this is called so googling the answer is impossible. I've tried 'pairing' and 'linking' but to no avail. Do you know what it's called and how I can stop it please?
Added (1). Just to be clear, I bought myself a new iphone 4S and his is a 3GS
Added (2). And this is a new problem, they were working independently fine until 24 hours ago. I have to say my husband isn't the most techy minded (says me!) and would have just pressed ok to anything that came up on the screen.
I've had the iPhone five since Feb. 12th and it's been perfect. I always charge my phone when I go to sleep and I did the same last night. I woke up and my phone only charged up to 98%.So, being the weirdo that I'm, thinking 2% would matter, so I plugged into the charger again and it didn't do anything. So then I unplugged it, blew on it a little and tried again. Then I tried it in two different out lets.
Finally I had to actually go to school. In 7th period I pluged my cord into the computer and it still didn't work!
I did everything below:
-Reset it
-Computer
-Turned it off and then plugged it in (And the phone turned on when I did this it just doesn't charge)
WHAT DO I DO!
I Can't unlock my iPhone 5 without it reading the text message that has come up? I don't want too have to read the text to unlock my phone? Any settings i can change so i can unlock the phone without it reading the text?
I have an orange San Diego and pretty much all the screen capture applications say that I need my phone to be rooted. As far as I understand it, rooting is just the same as jailbreaking, but I could be wrong. Could someone please explain to me what it is and possibly the best way to go about doing it?
I've owned both before, I've owned an iphone 1 and 3g and also a galaxy s2. I really dislike how my s2 has so many bugs and i'm planning on getting a new phone in the future. Should I buy a used iphone 5, wait for the iphone 6 or galaxy s4?
