IPhone taking up to 14 hours to restore from back up?

I screwed up the software on my iPhone a couple days ago, so yesterday I took it to the Apple Store and got it restored or whatever. And I backed everything up before I messed everything up so I know everything is on my computer. The thing though is that when I hit restore from back up, it freezes half way through and says it's gonna take like 15 or 16 hours. And I know it shouldn't take that long but I don't know what I'm doing wrong! I left it on all night and it did nothing. It froze and didn't do anything. I'm frustrated and I need help. What should I do? How do I get it to stop taking so long. The Apple guy said it should only take around 20 minutes and I don't have THAT much data on my phone to begin with.

How much data does a normal iPhone 4 use?

I have a iPhone 4 which uses about 30mb (received) and 28mb (sent) In about 1 and a 1/2 hours when not even touching it and all apps closed. I'm on contract with T-mobile or EE and about a week before every month I use up my fair usage is this normal? If not how do I stop my iPhone 4 from using so much data?

Switching for Android to iPhone

I've always had Android phones. I love customizing it and all that, I also love the android market, I like the android music apps. I've been really debating getting an iPhone though, I'm just not sure, I don't want to be paying for a bunch of apps and music that I was previously getting free before. Anyone switch to iPhone & what did ya think?

Do iPhone 5 lock buttons break easily?

I was thinking of buying an iPhone 5 soon but I have heard a lot of people complaining that their lock button has stopped working very quickly? Is this a regular thing that will be sorted or not? Does it happen more on white or black or is that just a stupid question?

Why is my iPhone 4 storage messed up & how can I fix it?

Hi. I have an iPhone 4 with the 6 GB of storage. The highest update I have on my phone is iOS6.1.2. Alright. Well starting this weekend, my phone informed me when I went to take a picture that I was out of memory, to check my settings, so I did so. I've deleted most of my apps & and deleted and reset my messages and calls. Well after deleting a couple of apps my megabytes went up some, but now every time I delete something so my memory isn't used up, it brings down my megabytes instead of bringing them up. My storage is completing screwed up and I can't download any apps and if I take a picture, it wastes my usage. I added up my usage and I should still have about 3 GB left. How can I fix my problem? My mom and my boyfriend both have iPhones with a lot more stuff and theirs is only using about 1 GB.

Why does my iphone keep going over my data?

I check my data at least once every day or every other day when i go on it when i'm not home.today i checked it and i wasn't on anything and has everything closed and it told me i used 188.02 of 200. I got home about an hour later and i got a message from att saying i went off my data by 7. I don't know how it keeps doing this. Or why? When i'm home i'm connected to Wi-Fi. Why is it doing this cuz i don't want to bay a $300 phone bill again

Is there an app that can change app icons?

My friend showed me her iphone and the icons looked like an updated version or something. The safari icon was a pink polka-dot background with the compass thing and the facebook icon looked all different. I asked her how she did it but she wouldn't say. Her iphone isn't jail-broken. Is there any way that I can do this with the apple ipod touch 4th generation?

IPhone 4S deleting contacts?

I've had two 4S iPhones for over a year now (first one fell and broke and I replaced it with a brand new one).

With each of these phones, about every month or so, it goes through a period where it will delete contacts entirely out of my phone book. Sometimes it'll compulsively delete only the most recently added 4-5 contacts, other times it just chooses randomly. If I don't have text messages from these people saved in my inbox, I lose their numbers entirely.

The OS doesn't seem to affect this issue - it's been consistent through 3 different software updates at this point.

No idea what to do! I have all my info backed up to iCloud, which backs up daily, but that also doesn't seem to make a difference in saving my contacts.

Any ideas?
